My Approach

I believe therapy is a journey that we undertake because we desire growth, change, healing and/or insight. During our work together we will celebrate your achievements, envision a desirable future and then map out the small and large changes necessary to realize and actualize your vision. I primarily do this by building upon and helping you to identify strengths while highlighting all successes along the way;  while engaging in trauma care as needed. 

Although I use an integrative approach, specific to each person's journey some of the Western theories and modalities I may draw from are: Family Systems, Strength based, Solution focused brief therapy (SFBT), Narrative therapy, Humanistic, Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), EMDR and Motivational interviewing.


I am interested in engaging the whole person by using mindfulness techniques o promote, rest, change and insightfulness. Often partnering with people to address themes such as: internalized oppression, trauma, intergenerational trauma, secondary trauma, family relationships, resilience across the life-span, boundaries, grief/healing and narrative work. I truly believe my purpose is to ignite the self-love we were born with and use that to facilitate growth and evolution. My hope is that you embark on this journey towards experiencing more joy each day.
